Career Pathways Case Managements

  1. Our Projects

At Immigrant Guide, we believe in giving immigrants the power to change their lives and start over. Therefore, we are at liberty to give guidance on how individuals can flourish in an unfamiliar country. With our career guidance services, we give immigrants access to professional career counseling and apprenticeships.  However, if an immigrant is choosing to go to school for a certain profession, we also provide services in writing strong applications for immigrants to go to college. Since the college application and admissions processes in the United States are very complicated, it is important that immigrants applying to institutions receive help in gaining admission to an institution of higher education, which is a service that Immigrant Guide can provide.

Education and employment services from Immigrant Guide are specifically customized to the needs of immigrants and refugees, ranging from services for those with some form of formal education to those with more limited education. Immigrant Guide is reaching out to employers, Chambers of Commerce, business and trade associations, and workforce development boards in order to discuss what skills are needed for particular jobs, as well as communicate the strengths and capacities of immigrant workers in order to help immigrants and refugees smoothly transition into life in a different country. Although native-born individuals have higher rates of employment and college attainment, we are trying to change this by giving immigrants and refugees similar opportunities.

  1. Education and career guidance at Immigrant Guide is multi-faceted, meaning we have many connections to get immigrants and refugees to adjust to working in the USA.
