Mission: Creating opportunities for people with disabilities to enhance the community. Programs: We provide services and support to 151 people with developmental disabilities. We provide the following services/support: vocational, residential, community support, nursing, habilitation, education, retirement, self advocacy, recreation and leisure, restorative therapy, school to adult transitions, and alternatives to work activities.

Employment Preparation & Procurement, Job Training

Mission: Serve developmentally disabled citizens and their families of harford and cecil counties, maryland primarily through residential and employment services. Programs: Residential and personal supports programs - provides housing for residential clients in the community and provides clients with support counselors. day, supported employment, community learning service and employment programs - teaches various working skills to consumers,provides learning skills to consumers through community employment and integration. foster care program - provides a program treatment of foster care for children placed by local departments of social services, including basic care and, if applicable, special education services.

Mission: To provide technical and work skills training to meet the needs of regional employers. Programs: The organization transferred all of its assets during fiscal year 2016 and had no operations during fiscal year 2017.

Employment Preparation & Procurement, Job Training

Mission: To create job opportunities for people with barriers to employment. Programs: Thrift stores - sales of donated goods received from the community. Goodwill employees process donated items for resale. Donated goods are resold in our goodwill-west texas retail stores. Stores provide retail jobs and career training to people with disabilities or disadvantages. The revenue is spent directly on programs that help people find and keep competitive jobs. vocational training - job training and placement of handicapped and disabled workers and others with barriers to employment. Many of the people served by goodwill are those with vocational disadvantages. Goodwill-west texas provides work adjustment training. By working one on one with a mentor, this training program helps individuals build the foundation needed to find and maintain employment in the community. Work experience and training are also provided by jobs at goodwill's retail stores and through the outside service contracts. outside services - contracted services and work adjustment services and training utilizing handicapped, disabled and other barriered workers.

Mission: A FAITH-BASED ORGANIZATION PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL, VOCATIONAL, AND PERSONAL SERVICES TO YOUTH AND ADULTS WHO ARE SEEKING TO OVERCOME CIRCUMSTANCES RELATED TO POVERTY. IN ADDITION TO AN ARRAY OF ON-SITE SERVICES, WE WORK CLOSELY WITH OTHER SERVICE PROVIDERS TO ASSEMBLE THE UNIQUE CONSTELLATION OF SUPPORT NEEDED BY EACH CLIENT.
