Mission: BCABVI provides resources, answers and support to all people with blindness or other visual impairment that maximize their ability to meet life’s daily challenges and realize their continued self-worth and value to our community. Target demographics: people who are blind and visually impaired Direct beneficiaries per year: Over 3,000 children and 1,000 adults Geographic areas served: Bucks County Programs: Low Vision Clinics in Newtown and Telford, PA where patients receive expert recommendations how to maximize their remaining vision using low vision aids, technology and training. Free Adult and Children Vision Screenings in our community Educational Presentations (community based and online) for the general public, medical professionals, clients and their families or any group with an interest in vision Support groups for people experiencing vision loss In Home Supports that assist with independent living Transportation services Social and Recreational Activities Case Management services Information and Referrals for other resources in the community
